Before you take your Unit 1 final test, complete the following: (these are REQUIREMENTS, not suggestions)
1. Double check that you have a check mark at the top of every assignment and have completed all your Actively Learn quizzes.
2. A large part of your test focuses on context clues. Answering multiple choice questions about context clues is very different from finding them while you read. Watch the video below for some tips on how to approach context clues questions on a test:

3. Do some review practice using Moby Max. When you log in, there are a few buttons along the top. DO NOT click the books. This will make you take a pre-test and give you a whole, long program. Instead, click the icon that looks like a piece of paper. It should have a red circled number that tells you how many assignments you have. These assignments are specifically about inferences and context clues, which will be the bulk of your unit 1 test questions.
Click here for mobymax. (username = lunch#, password = COMETS18)
4. Study for the vocabulary portion of your test. 12 questions of your test are strictly vocabulary based (matching). Study with the quizlet link below to prepare. You can study by doing flashcards, games, etc, BUT when you think you know all 12 words, you should take a "quiz" on quizlet to double check:
1. Click on test
2. Click on options (bottom left corner). Set your options to only multiple choice, 12 of 12 questions, no images, and answer with definition. This will give you a multiple choice test with all the vocab words. Take this test as many times as needed to get a 100% (to retake, click “create new test” at the bottom of the page).

5. Take one last look through your notebook. Reread all your notes carefully and look over your assignments. Make sure you are prepared to answer ANY question about ANY of the material from unit 1.
You should have a paper from Mrs. Abercrombie with these steps listed. If not, ask her for one. Double check that you have done everything needed to study for your test, then bring it to Mrs. A to get your test.
